As the Co-Founder and CEO of CatalyzU, Karl Nchite is pioneering a new frontier in Africa’s workforce development by bridging the gap between high-potential talent and global non-technical job markets.

With an eye for innovation and a deep commitment to inclusive growth, Karl launched CatalyzU to connect Africa’s best young professionals to remote roles in sales, marketing, customer success, and business development, careers that have long been overlooked in traditional upskilling programs.

What began as a community platform for young African investors has now evolved, under Karl’s leadership, into a full-fledged startup that’s equipping and exporting African talent to the global stage. Through its innovative fellowship model, CatalyzU not only vets and trains young professionals but ensures they are placed in dollar-paying, remote jobs that match their skill sets.

Drawing from his background in impact investing at Goodwell Investments and his leadership experience in building the Young African Catalysts community, Karl brings both strategic insight and grassroots energy to the talent-tech space. Under his direction, CatalyzU has evolved from a curated talent network into a full-scale platform backed by Techstars Toronto and global investors, unlocking remote income opportunities for emerging professionals across the continent.

A Stanford GSB fellow and frequent speaker at global institutions like Oxford and Wharton, Karl is not only building a company, he’s leading a movement he calls “desktop migration,” allowing Africans to earn globally while living locally. With a vision rooted in equity and excellence, he is changing the narrative around who African talent is for, and what’s possible when they are given the right tools and access.

Whether he’s training fellows, designing placement pathways, or partnering with international startups, Karl Nchite continues to champion a future where Africa’s talent doesn’t just compete, it leads.
